Traditional Yarn Socket Mop Head

Choose yarn socket mop heads if you are looking for a traditional option ideal for smooth floors such as lino and laminates. The 19cm long, large head is made from absorbent yarns so it's easy to see why this has long been a favourite of hotel housekeepers. These mop heads fit our extra-long mop and broom handle. Fit the mop head onto the handle by boring the screw head of the handle into the socket. Most housekeepers steep the mop heads in bleach between uses and only remove them once the yarns wear out, as they are not washable or able to be refitted. Complete the kit with a mop bucket and wringer. Mop heads and buckets are available in blue, green, red and yellow for colour-coded cleaning, to help you prevent cross contamination. We recommend blue for general use, green for kitchens, red for toilets and yellow for elsewhere in bathrooms.
