Within the approximated and ever-increasing 45 million tourists that come to visit us here in Cumbria each year, they bring an astonishing £2.72 billion income with them, and that’s a statistic that wouldn’t be possible without the unique, talented and booming businesses we see throughout Cumbria.
From 5-star hotels to quaint holiday cottages, to fine dining restaurants and the quirkiest attractions, the diversity of our hospitality sector is something to be celebrated.
Self-Catering Holiday Provider of the Year Award

Being based in the heart of Cumbria ourselves, we see it as both essential and an honour to be supporting these local Cumbrian businesses that offer innovation, warm welcomes, sustainability, great service and marketing to an excellent standard.
The criteria upon which the award is judged matches so closely with our own ethos, with regards to successfully implementing sustainable practices, and is a large reason why we love to support local businesses with shared values in whichever way we can.

The awards ceremony will take place in June, and up until Monday 5th March you can enter your accommodation into the competition with 18 categories available for entry. We wish all the contenders the very best of luck and every success – you deserve it!
