Autumn is definitely upon us now, there’s a chill in the air and the nights are drawing in. And you know what that means don’t you? Yes, it’s time to start thinking ahead to Christmas! Up in Lapland, Santa’s little helpers are already working away furiously in the toy workshop, and the reindeer are nearing peak fitness. The sofa manufacturers are busy booking up all the TV advertising slots (do you think there’ll be a sale this year?), and there are some pretty worried-looking turkeys in Norfolk. Mmmmm, we can almost smell the cinnamon and hear the crackling of logs in the grate already. But of course we also realise that on top of all the fun and festivities, Christmas can be a pretty fraught and stressful time for our friends in the hospitality business, and of course good preparation is the key to a smooth and successful winter period.
