Happy National B&B Day!
On Saturday 24th March, an entire day is being dedicated to celebrating B&Bs across the nation, appropriately positioned at the end of English Tourism Week.
The B&B Association has banded together with a variety of sponsors and partners including Booking.com, VisitBritain, TripAdvisor and eviivo, who are backing the event and encouraging as many holidaymakers and staycationers as possible to stay in B&Bs this weekend.
During the 23rd-25th March there will be a variety of independent accommodations offering unique perks for their guests to celebrate the day, whether this be a free cream tea, a jar of homemade marmalade or even a free surf lesson.
B&B Day is an event dedicated to truly celebrating and recognising the incredible achievements, outstanding service and huge contribution that B&Bs add to the hospitality industry and tourist economy.
There are over 25,000 B&Bs and independent guesthouses spread across the UK who bring over £2 billion annually to the UK economy, and we believe that needs celebrating!
It’s not just B&Bs taking part either, whether you have accommodation in an independent hotel, a guest house, a converted windmill, a refurbished castle or any other quirky accommodations, B&B day encourages the celebration of all independent hosts and hoteliers!
Our goal at Out of Eden has always been to support the smaller accommodation provider, who have always been some of our most loyal and hard-working customers. That is why our core business values have always been to champion the smaller independent accommodations with:
With the hard work of hosting and running a B&B often underappreciated, here at Out of Eden we recognise and commend the day-to-day demands and the ins-and-outs of running a B&B.
The need to be a chef, cleaner, taxi service, tour guide, entire marketing team, agony aunt (or uncle!), host and friend all in one is not an easy task!
So this is a big thank you to all the B&Bs out there who offer a unique experience for every guest, one that is a truly authentic and quintessentially British holiday experience, and we wish you a very fun-filled B&B Day this Saturday and a successful spring season!
