Out Of Eden Team Million Pound Month

2017, that’s a wrap!

As 2017 draws to a close we’re handing over to our Managing Director, Mike Gannon, to reflect on our most successful year to date and share with you some of the exciting milestones we’ve reached.

Over to you Mike…

Our year began with plenty of new products, lots of ideas, plans in motions and ambitious targets.

Putting the final touches to our Kirkby Stephen Trade Showroom was the first port of call and we were all so excited to bring our catalogue to life, giving customers the opportunity to take a closer look at our products.

Little did we know the opening of our new Trade Showroom in June would be so successful. Customers are telling us they really like it and since opening the doors our customer numbers and sales have doubled!

July was our biggest ever sales month seeing us ship out a whopping 8,213 orders and since then we’ve beaten a sales target that our founder Ian Hartley never dreamed was possible when he established Out of Eden back in 1993.

Many years ago, Ian told us that if we ever met a sales target of £1m in a single month he would take us all to Las Vegas…not realising that by 2017 we would actually achieve that target, and be a much larger team than he envisaged! So, to mark the occasion this Christmas we brought Las Vegas to the Eden Valley with a casino night to remember at our company party!

None of the records we have broken in our business in 2017 would have been possible without the support of our wonderful customers and dedicated team members. Many companies will have bigger numbers to shout about and in reality our numbers are quite modest.

What I am most proud about at Out of Eden is the simple way we do business – working hard to look after both our customers and our team members every day. On behalf of the full team here at Out of Eden I’d like to thank all of our customers and suppliers for their support.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
